2.15 Technical note – February 2022

Introduction

As part of the continued evolution of the MyMesh product range, the Commissioning App is undergoing a significant change. This will be introduced with the upcoming release 2.15.

After updating the App on the iPad, each project will require the database in the iPad to be converted. The App will guide you through the process, which is done automatically.

Steps

  1. When selecting a project in the new App for the first time, the following screen will appear:

  2. Select Yes, convert, and continue.
  3. After this has completed, exit the project and then reopen it.
  4. You may see some “!”on some items. This is normal and something that may occur in the update process, at this point hit save in the bottom corner of the app and they will be removed.
  5. Carry on as normal.

Notes

At this point you can carry on as normal.

If you open a new project in version 2.15 no conversion will be necessary.

Once converted, a project can not be opened any more with older versions of the App.

Going forward, sites with an Ethernet gateway have the possibility for remote commissioning without being on site. This requires activation from Chess UK.
